Over the Foundation’s history, we have witnessed extraordinary changes within philanthropy and to the political and practical commitments made by the UN and national governments.
We all have the same goal: getting to zero by 2030 and an AIDS free world.
Since 2013, among many other achievements, your support has helped us:
- Invest £1.2m in anti-stigma programmes
- Grant £19.2m to projects supporting vulnerable groups
- Test 181, 165 men who have sex with men for HIV
- Link 3,645 young people to life-saving treatment programmes
- Reach over 17m people around the world
But we aren’t finished yet. The AIDSfree campaign marks a major push forward in our progress to contain and reduce the spread of HIV.
Your donation will go towards projects across our campaign cities, London, Nairobi, Atlanta, Kiev, Delhi and Maputo, to help even more people get tested, treated and supported. And remember, every pound you give will be matched by the UK government to go towards projects in Nairobi and Maputo.
We believe that, together, AIDS can be beaten so that no one, anywhere, is left behind.
Through UK Aid Match, the UK government will double public donations up to £2 million to be spent across projects in Maputo and Nairobi.
